Dave Manchester Bio

Dave Manchester is originally from the Philadelphia area and an avid cyclist before he got into the bicycle industry. He would ride his bike from Philadelphia tot he Jersey Shore to meet friends in Atlantic City, Stone Harbor and Wildwood. So it was natural that he would eventually compete in road races and triathlons. When Dave wanted to switch careers and leave the music industry, he landed a sales position with Diamondback. Dave represented Diamondback in the Mid-Atlantic Region, successfully placing Diamondback bicycles into stores. Dave was soon noticed by Cannondale, and was asked to join their organization. Dave worked his way from local sales representative, to regional sales manager, and now is managing National Sales for Cannondale as Vice President of Sales. Dave lives in Baltimore, but spends most of his time at Cannondale's Corporate Offices in Bethel, CT. Dave still road rides and has added mountain biking to his passions, enjoying the local trails at Avalon and McKeldin.

Cannondale began in 1971, initially producing the Bugger, the world's first bicycle-towed trailer. Since 1977, Cannondale has produced handmade bicycles just 3 hours away from Baltimore in Bedford, PA. Cannondale is known for their commitment to both men's and women's cycling teams. Cyclists rode Cannondales to medals at the Summer Olympic Games ain Sydney and won last year's grueling 3 week stage race, Giro d'Italia.

Cannondale has recently reorganized with a bicycling focus to match its cutting edge technology, with road and triathlon models for every level of competitor. Cannondale is proud to be the Official Bike of Ironman, delivering 3 triathlon models with full tri geometry and specs for experienced competitors plus providing an additional triathlon model with more comfortable sport road geometry for the beginner triathlon participant. Cannondale's road models also cover all levels of interest, from women specific sizing, to hill climbing triples, to fixed-gear, single-speed track bikes, to high-speed, light-weight, nimble team replica.
