We are looking for volunteers for the following races. If you are interested in participating send an email to our Promotions Officer . Natasha will send you details about what you will be doing!
The club tent provides a great meeting place for all club members amongst the hordes of people at any of the races. It's nice to see familiar faces and have a place to put all your gear if you are racing. It then provides a post race place to relax, eat and socialize.
Volunteers shop and transport the goods,set up and tear down the tent and hang out to answer questions from the public while watching the race. Last year we had things like hot dogs, chips cookies, icee pops, sodas etc..... for all club members and teir families at our tent.
Manning the tent involves:
- Picking up equipment, tent, coolers etc... from CTA warehouse in Columbia
- Set up and take down at race site
- Buying food and setting up at race site
- Answering questions from the public regarding MMTC
