This race takes place on the B&A trail in Severna Park. It was an out and back on an asphalt path. The only hill came about half way - you run down it and then turn around and run up it - probably a half mile at most. The weather was perfect - chilly - probably about 35F. The only negative was a thin layer of snow on the wooden bridges. I was very happy with my time - I managed to pace almost exactly the same time mile after mile with only about 20 seconds difference between miles - very consistent (of course it was flat as a pancake).
I highly recommend this winter race - it's close by and small, and everyone was very friendly! Just don't get excited about the t-shirts - instead of t-shirts they gave windshirts that were the most hideous shade of yellow I've ever seen :(. Oh well, still a great race!
