Race Report:

Even though the swim was canceled and became a 2.7 mile run everything seemed like a swim. It rained the entire time.

I ran OK on the first leg of the RBR 20:56

T1 2:08 no hurry, no worry.

On the bike I had a blast. I was whipping down the hills. My bike computer states that I hit a high speed of 41MPH for a 1:40:14. If you squint the rain that rooster tails from your wheels won't get in your eyes. ;-)

This may help someone so I'll put it out there anyway
The key to riding fast in the rain is slowing down before the turns so you don't wipe out on the turns.

T2 1:55 (see T1)

The last run was a usual slow pace for me. 52:46 If can get get close to a 10 minute pace at the end of a TRI I feel a strong sense of accomplishment.
