Great crowds, great day -- course record set 2:07:14; 3 Americans finished in the top 5 (3, 4 and 5); and the Red Sox won in the bottom of the ninth with a two-run homer.
I lowered my best Boston time by six minutes despite a stitch in the first ten miles and quad back-talk in the last 2k. Miles 11 - 24 went great; uphill went super, miles 17 to Heartbreak at mile 21; downhill after mile 21 went fine...until the last 2k.
No better marathon in the world.
