What a great time, start to finish! This was my first sprint tri, and my second tri ever...the first being an Olympic distance 2 years ago. It was helpful to have Sadj there to answer all the newbie questions, and fantastic to have so many MMTC members there to cheer each other along! The swim was short and easy, the bike was hilly, and the run was HOT. I still haven't bought a watch, and didn't miss it at all...I just did the best I could while trying to save a bit of energy for the end. I did have to walk a good bit of the run course...first because I couldn't quite find my legs again after the bike, then because I was too d*#! hot. Now I know I need to do more running, more bricks, and probably a little weight strengthening on my wimpy legs. A big thanks to Adam Rutz for the masters swimming...that's why I was so comfortable in the water. Looking forward to the next race!
