Race Report:

Got to race site at about 7am for 8:15 start and got good sport with a large lot closed for construction, so most parked across Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia Mall parking.

Powerbar had something new, a gel that has more than 1 gel, and is re-sealable! Great for bike rides.

Saw tons of MMTCers, including Sadj (2nd 70+ female) / Bob Bartolo, Susie Serpcio (3rd overall female), and Bob Reid, among others. I did not see Chip, but saw his result, which was impressive.

Post-race fare is can be classified a on of the seven deadly sins “glutany”..and obsenenly amount of food and drink! Bagel, muffins, strawberries by carton, apples, banana, oranges, yogurt, Clyde’s chili, Poweraide, beer, water, and post-race massage. Took advantage of all but chili.

Results for 2013 was not as good as last year, but have been consistently in the 48:00 range since 2004.

Prior years Age/ split / total / pace (do not remember when Clyde’s change course to current Rt.108 hill, but was likely in 2004.
