    BANQUET AWARDS – WE NEED YOUR NOMINATIONS
    These are selected based on club member nominations. PLEASE SEND YOUR NOMINATIONS TO comm@midmdtriclub.org NLT JANUARY 13TH to have time to consider all submissions.

    This year we will be giving awards for:

    MMTC Hall of Fame: This award goes to someone who has been a longstanding member of MMTC and has gone above and beyond to be an ambassador for the sport of triathlon as well as MMTC.

    Volunteer of the Year: This award goes to someone who has donated their time and efforts to support MMTC in 2018 and has been a presence that has helped MMTC succeed.

    Rookie of the Year: This award goes to a new member of MMTC who made their first foray into triathlon this year and had a memorable experience.

    Triformation Award: This award goes to someone who has used triathlon as a way to change their lifestyle and better themselves.

    Ironheart/Tri-formation Award: This award goes to someone who has persevered through major obstacles and challenges and refused to give up.

    Short Course Athlete of the Year: This award goes to a member of MMTC who excelled during the 2018 season racing at the Olympic/International distance and under. It could be someone who made their first plunge into the sport and/or an athlete who had a stellar race/season.

    Long Course Athlete of the Year: This award goes to a member of MMTC who had an outstanding 2018 season racing at the 70.3 and/or 140.6 distance. It could be someone who stepped up to a new distance for the first time or an athlete who had a stellar race/season.
