What is the MMTC Ambassador program?

MMTC Ambassadors serve as volunteer club representatives sharing the benefits of MMTC membership and the sport of triathlon with prospective members at local races and other club functions.

Can I be an ambassador for other organizations as well?

  • Definitely! MMTC is all about partnerships, inclusivity, and growing multisport.

Do I need to be an outgoing extrovert?

  • Being a spunky extrovert is welcome and encouraged (up to and including costumes), but it is not required.
  • We also need ambassadors to work behind the scenes setting up tents, tables, and helping potential members navigate website sign up.

Do I have to lug that tent and table around?

  • In most instances an MMTC board member will bring the tent and table to the event, but we will ask you to help with set up and break down.  However, we appreciate those that are willing to do so and will make the handout seamless.

Do I get any cool swag? What do I wear? 

  • Yes! We are in the process of designing and ordering MMTC ambassador gear.  Until then, wear MMTC or multisport gear, or whatever cool adventure swag sparks a conversation.

Is there a minimum event commitment? How long is each event?

  • There is no minimum or maximum. One event gets you the free premium t-shirt.  A few more events and next year’s MMTC membership is 50% off.
  • Most events are an approximately two-hour commitment. Longer events will work in shifts or teams.
