Club Meeting – Virtual

Join us on July 6th at 6:30pm for a virtual meeting with Triathlon pioneer, Rob “Vigo” Vigorito. A 6 time Kona finisher, Vigo is known more for his help in growing and developing the sport of triathlon locally, nationally, and internationally. He started the 1st Columbia Triathlon in 1984, the growth of Eagleman 70.3, and Chesapeakeman (which ultimately became IRONMAN Maryland. He also assisted in the establishment of a national governing body, today known as USA Triathlon and was recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 2001 for hist contributions to the sport.

Come listen as Vigo recounts the early years of the sport, as well as it’s explosion and heights in the 2010’s, and learn more about the sport that we all love.
